Students In Need Group
The Garrett College Students In Need Group (SING) is committed to student success by helping students identify and connect with available resources within the College and local community. SING, a volunteer group of Garrett College faculty, staff, and members of the College community, is dedicated to providing emergency assistance to all Garrett College students, both on-campus and off-campus, in times of extreme need or extenuating circumstances.
SING offers a number of programs to provide resources to students throughout the year. These programs are open to all students, and students are not required to demonstrate need to participate or receive resources. Events and activities may include: PB & J Days, School Supply Giveaways, Winter Clothing Drive, Food Pantry, Cook-Offs, and more!
Typically, food, winter clothing, and school supplies are available year-round. The Food Pantry is located in Room 640. In an emergency, SING may be able to provide other types of assistance as well.
